Book reviews

ALL BOOKS ARE RECOMMENDED UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE!!

The Royal institute of Magic Book 1-5
Written by Victor Kloss
This was meant to be a series of 6 books, but Victor died from cancer half way through the 6th book, so I’m not sure if its still planning on coming out. His wife and himself said that it would get continued but I have yet to check on this.

Anyways the plot is about two best friends that end up finding the magical world by accident, and then continue to save the world from an evil elf.

Rise of the Red Shadow

Side book of Book of Deacon series that I had read 2 out of four in London but for some reason I felt like reading the next books so now I am. This book gives us the back story to one of the major characters in the book, which really adds onto the enjoyment of the series.

DragonWatch
New series by Brandon Mull
This is a add on series to the Fablhaven series that has the two main characters becoming leaders of a dragon sanctuary.

August 2, 2017 updates:

Battle Of Verril book 3

(Rise of the Red Shadow is the side book of this series.) This is the last book of the Book of Deacon series, and I have to say it was a really big dissapointment, it just felt really rushed, especially after reading Rise of the Red Shadow which was so well done. In fact I only read 50% of it and that was a struggle. Really wouldn't suggest.

Demons of Astlan

I am currently reading this series and it is absolutely amazing. The plot is about a normal guy who ends up being turned into a demon by wizards in another dimension, but they don't believe him that he is human and it's about him living as a demon.

 Added on September 7 2017:

Dragon Knight series

This is about a young adult who has had his memory wiped because he was tortured and had evil magic put into him (the evil magic was thing that wiped his memory), usually people that had this done to them go insane but he lasted a lot longer than usually and eventually he escapes his master. After running away he falls into a cave system and after a while he finds a sword thats connected to a dragon, this dragon helps him not get corrupted by the magic. His main mission is to stop the people that run the system that corrupts people like him with magic. One of the best parts of this series is that you see the main character slowly become more normal and more nice.

Night Blade series

This is a series where the main character is what they call a nightblade and his powers allows him to know what move is going to happen before it actually happens. And it goes through the series of his life and also some other characters.

Dragon Trials

This series had a lot of promise but the characters were meant to be 17-18 years old except they all acted like 9 year olds and the plot was dry and unrealistic even in by fantasy means. I give this a -5 out of 10.

Hundred Halls series

A intriguing story placed in modern day and some people have magic and some don't but all know about magic. It's about two sisters who go into one of the magic schools (Hundreds Hall is the system and there are 100 different specialized halls you can go into). The sisters are completely different character types but both really enjoyable. Have yet to finish the second book.

WOLF OF THE NORTH  Trilogy

This is a very instructing mix between the narator and the story, and it has a very good character build  in it, and the world there in is excellent. I don't really want to say anything because it would spoil it and was 100% worth the read.

JORUNDYR'S PATH
This is a the second book of the trilogy series

Society of The Sword Trilogy
The Society of the Sword is placed in the same world as Wolf of the North, intact the author wrote this before Wolf of the North. Not as well written as the Wolf of the North but still better than most books.
